At the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, they understand that life's challenges can sometimes be difficult.  Whether you're facing mental health struggles, emotional distress, alcohol or drug use concerns, or just need someone to talk to, our caring counselors are here for you. You are not alone. 

The Stabilization Center is a walk-in facility for people feeling overwhelmed by mental health, substance use, or other life issues.  Help is available for youth, adults, and families.  You can receive services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  They are located at 230 North Rd., Poughkeepsie, NY  or call directly at 845-486-2849

Their Mission is to enable individuals and families to live free from domestic violence by: 

• Providing shelter, advocacy, counseling, and education 
• Raising the consciousness of the community regarding the extent, type and seriousness of domestic violence 
• Initiating and taking positions on public policies in order to provide options which empower victims of domestic violence

Sexual violence is any sexual act or attempt to obtain a sexual act by violence or coercion, acts to traffic a person or acts directed against a person’s sexuality, regardless of the relationship to the victim, without their consent.

 The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning youth. 

 Text HOME to 741741 from anywhere in the United States, anytime. Crisis Text Line is here for any crisis. A live, trained Crisis Counselor receives the text and responds, all from our secure online platform. The volunteer Crisis Counselor will help you move from a hot moment to a cool moment. 

 Trans Lifeline’s Hotline is a peer support phone service run by trans people for our trans and questioning peers. We believe that some of the best support that trans people can receive is from trans community members with shared lived experience. Call us if you need someone trans to talk to, even if  you’re not in crisis or if you’re not sure you’re trans.
