Welcome to the healing journey with Kim; a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Nationally Board Certified Counselor, and Board Certified Neurofeedback provider. I offer virtual (telehealth) sessions across New York and Florida as well as in-person sessions at my LaGrangeville, NY office.
I specialize in trauma recovery, anxiety, and depression, with a particular focus on supporting individuals who have experienced all forms of trauma, including those with military backgrounds and those navigating the profound loss of a loved one to suicide.
I blend traditional talk therapy with evidence-based approaches such as Neurofeedback and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), integrating both mind- and brain-based healing. I received advanced training in Neurofeedback under the mentorship of Dr. Dan Meyer at the Hudson Valley Center for Neurofeedback in Poughkeepsie, NY, and hold a Trauma-Focused Neurofeedback Certification from the Trauma Research Foundation.
At the heart of my work is a belief in reauthoring your story. I offer a non-judgmental, supportive space where you are truly heard. Together, we will build resilience, self-compassion, and the courage to move forward.

Hi, I’m Shawna! I work with teens and adults who have experienced complex trauma rooted in neglect, abuse, or emotional disconnection within their families. I also support people navigating depression, anxiety, identity exploration, family conflict or estrangement, and the many transitions that life can bring. I hold a special commitment to supporting LGBTQIA+ clients in ways that are supportive, safe, and deeply respectful, creating space where every part of who you are is seen and valued. My background also includes working with individuals in consensual non-monogamous relationships.
My approach to therapy is centered on your unique experiences, your needs, and your pace. I draw from an integrative range of modalities, including DBT, trauma-informed CBT, relational therapy, narrative therapy, attachment-based work, body-based practices, expressive therapy, and more. I strive to build a relationship grounded in trust, collaboration, and compassion as we work to figure out what feels right and supportive for you.
Together, we’ll explore both the struggles and the strengths you bring with you, reconnecting with your values and what matters most to you. Whether you are working through painful memories, navigating complex relationships, or simply figuring out what comes next, we’ll move forward gently, at your pace, in a way that supports the life and the connections you most want for yourself.

Hi, I'm Nanette! I believe therapy is a space for reconnection, a space where your experiences, identities, and emotions can be explored with care, curiosity, and compassion. My approach is warm, relational, and grounded in humanistic, psychodynamic, narrative, and liberation-focused frameworks. I also incorporate trauma-informed practices that honor your unique pace and lived experience.
Alongside evidence-based modalities like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I integrate somatic techniques, breathwork, and other holistic practices to support healing on both mind and body levels. This blend allows us to address patterns stored in the body and cultivate greater presence, regulation, and resilience.
In our work together, I offer a space that is steady, nonjudgmental, and deeply respectful of your complexity. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, life transitions, family dynamics, identity exploration, or generational trauma, you are welcome to bring your full self, including your contradictions, culture, grief, resistance, and hope. I don’t expect you to have the answers; we’ll hold the questions together.
I especially welcome those who hold marginalized identities or who are seeking to come home to themselves in a world that hasn’t always made space for that. My intention is to co-create a space that is affirming and liberating, where your story can unfold without urgency and your agency is not just respected but celebrated. You may not know how to live in your next chapter yet, and that’s okay. We’ll learn together.

Hello, I’m Alice! I work with adults, teens, and preteens to navigate a broad spectrum of struggles and concerns such as anxiety, depression, postpartum depression, perinatal loss, parenting, complex trauma, trauma spectrum disorders, abuse, neglect, and invalidation. I am devoted through my counseling to help create solace and identify strength in the face of suffering. With a deep understanding of how trauma impacts the mind, body, and relationships, I approach therapy with compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person's unique story. My practice is rooted in the belief that healing is possible—and that every person deserves to be seen, heard, and supported without judgment. I work collaboratively with clients to help them reconnect with their strengths, build resilience, and move toward a life of greater peace and authenticity.
I am broadly person-centered and eclectic in my therapeutic approach, while drawing also from psychodynamic theory, attachment theory, and family systems theory. I find this approach in combination with careful attunement to somatic responses, and utilization of somatic techniques can lead to meaningful healing, change, and growth. I enter the room with warmth, care, empathy, and a dedicated desire to work alongside you, the expert of your own experience.
I strive to offer trauma-informed mental health counseling dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering space for individuals navigating the complexities of living. Whether you're seeking support for recent challenges or working through long-standing wounds, I offer a warm, nonjudgmental presence and a therapeutic relationship built on trust. Together, we’ll explore what healing means for you and take steps toward meaningful change, striving for your true potential, and pursuing your authentic self — at your pace.
